Enrichment does not require a large home. What matters most is variety: somewhere to climb, somewhere to hide, and a few opportunities each day to stalk, search, or watch.
Rotate simple activities instead of leaving everything available at once. A paper bag with the handles removed, a treat trail, or a five-minute wand-toy session can feel new when it returns after a short break.
Quiet spaces matter too. A covered bed or elevated perch gives a cat control over when to participate and when to rest.
